    Hi Dietz,

    I don't know what I was expecting but I must say these plugs are outstanding - of course particularily orVSL instruments.   Your templates are outstanding.   So far on the demo I have used them as is - in only a few cues, I have found minor tweaks needed - but the point is you get me most of the way there (save time).   I am going to pick this up but curious when you will make available the rest of the library (templates)

    The real standouts are the strings (especially the 'warm and distant' one for AP 2), the timps, harps, epic horns.  In some cased your 'cuts' are agressive but the final sound is not lifeless or mangled.   Really nice work.

    Thanks for the kind words, Rob! Always highly appreciated.

    As the whole "Preset"- idea was initially some kind of trial balloon, actually meant to be used mostly as starting-point for customized settings, feedback like yours is very valuable to me. While I still see most sense in the so-called EQ-"Resonance Menues", I will most certainly try to create more "Character Presets", like the "Majestic" horns or the like. I will continue to concentrate on EQ- and Compressor-settings, plus a few more Multiband-presets. There's not much sense in doing many new presets for obvious processors like the Powerpan or the Limiter, if you ask me.

    I was planning to release new Presets in February or March. To be honest, the Vienna MIR had priority during the last  few weeks before NAMM, and after that most of us took a few days off. - I had a great time travelling through California, BTW, and I could also take a short look at Salt Lake City from the window of the 747. ;-)

    Hi Dietz,

    Totally agree on just EQ, compressor and multiband presets.   Thanks again and really looking forward to them.  I am planning on buying this on Weds  (soon as I get my newest farm unit up and installed with libraries.)

    Hope you waved when you flew over.[:)]   Should have stopped over an gone skiing - you know it is the 'greatest snow on earth'.

    Any idea if these additional templates/presets will be available when the new reverb hits the user downloads? Also, will future owners of the Suite be able to demo the reverb? Thanks again for your wonderful innovation & hard work VSL TEAM, and a very special thanks to Dietz for all his efforts and accomplishments!

    I see VSL have changed their homepage, and in big bold letters its announcing 342 new presets Coming Very SOON! :) Should be fun!

     Great, im really looking forward to getting a 64bit Convulsion reverb !

    And lets hope that 300 of the prests are not for the power panner :P

    I was hoping for this weekend (or at least sometime next week)... do VSL have a normal day they release products on - I can't remember?  Spectrasonics always pick a Monday and Apple tend to do things on a Tuesday....

     nope....nothing yet ...

    I assumed it wouldnt be released unti the 15th of may, since thats when the price goes up?

    No, I am very sure that they will release it this weekend or the next at the latest. They want to earn money with the software, so when every customer would have the possibility to test the software 30 days till 15th may, there would be less reasons to buy it before 15th may, but when they release the update this weekend, two weeks before price-increasing, the demo-customers have to think about to finish the demo-mode  after 2 weeks or to pay the higher price for the suite. They will keep the distance to the 15th may as short as possible, but the Vienna-team is doing fair-play to their customers.... Believe me.

    Paul is keeping silence about the release-date, but I am sure it will happen this coming or the next coming weekend at the latest.

    Seems they released it today. Well, at least the download's available. :)
