Hi there,
At the moment, some of the instruments sound different to how they do in the demos.
I have never attempted any mixing or post-production before (I use Sibelius 5(.25) and Logic Studio)
I was wondering whether anyone could help by posting a good, simple tutorial for me.

Hi Ben.
You're probably meaning more along the lines of EQ and compression etc, but having a good template to work from will get you some way down the road. Have you tried out the Special Edition demo? I downloaded Hetoreyn's Logic template to use with Altiverb and it made a serious difference to my set up (Thanks H). He also has one for Altiverb or Sound Designer at

It's easy enough to incorporate VE into it by copying the relevant settings of the VI channels to the VE Aux channels in Logic.
As I said, by mixing, you more than likely mean EQ etc, so someone else will have to help you out there. Maybe Beat has a tutorial on the subject.
