    Can someone on the VSL Team tell me if there is any difference between the RAM memory footprint of a Special Edition patch versus the Full Blown (Cube) edition -- assuming same instrument/articulation?

    of course there is (a very few patches might be identical though) - primary since SE is whole-tone-mapped and cube not.

    simplified: symphonic cube has 790.000 samples whereas SE bundle hat 130.000 ... 64 kB preload buffer per sample

    Thanks for clarifying Christian. I wasn't thinking of the whole-tone mapping.....
