  • Moving Elements to a new drive

    Hello,

If I move the Elements Instrument file to a different drive, do I need to tell the VSL player to look in a new location? Is there anything else I need to do? Thanks for all your help.

  • I *think* you  simply need to run the Vienna Instruments Directory Manager. I've never done it myself, but upon opening the Manager, there is a button for "Add A Folder." I think you just click on that and it'll ask you for the location of the new folder to which you moved Elements. Once you add it, you should see it alongside the others in the list. Like i said, ive not yet had to use it, but it seems pretty straightforward. Make sure you have the most recent version of Vienna Software.

I've done this a few times, and, yes, it's easy.  Run the Directory Manager and find the new drive and directory with it.
