Hi Herb,
My question was more related to the fanfare trumpets. What about them... will owner of the Symphonic Cube be able to get them free?
Thanks!

i'd say the trumpet Bb and bassoon 2 offer makes the winter rather mild .... two instruments you don't have so far (since they are not yet released) whereas you have already a much larger set of the fanfare trumpets if you already have the special brass ...

Dear VSL staff i am registered user for Brass 1 2 and Special Brass Standard and Extended but Bb trumpet is showing the full price. Do i am elegible for the free download ? I am also full registered for Woods 1 2 and special so Basson 2 is showing my price is 0. Thanks in advance.
Hi Anton,
don't worry as soon as the new instruments are ready for sale, there will be a "Your Price" columne for both instrument displaying "0 €".
Than you will be able to order Bassoon II and trumpet Bb licenses without any payment.
You are defentitely elegible for the free download.

Herb
Many thanks !
I too was curious about this! Love to hear an official answer.@haydn12 said:
I've also been wondering about the US dollar prices of the downloads. Are they at the current Euro to US Dollar rate?
I've almost hit the Submit Order button a few times but the lack of not seeing the current US Dollar rate has made me stop every time.

the official answer is - as always - that download products are sold in EUR only
the current EUR - USD exchange rates can be viewed eg. here
though we don't know which rate exactly your credit card company or bank will use/apply

Hi CM,
Please can you do something about the terrible £/Euro exchange rate - surely there is a VSL plug-in that will sort it out.
£1 = €1.40 will work for me (like last year) doesn't even have to be 64 bit!

Hello.
I noticed that the Extended Bundle purchase has a $ in front of the price instead of the Euro symbol. Is this true? The cost is in U.S. dollars?
Thanks.
BTW, I'm finally understanding how to use these great instruments!

Well, apparently all of the SE Extended instruments are already on my hard drive. I'm wondering if I purchase this from the web site if I will just receive the validation number for the Extended instruments without needing to get a new DVD set for these instruments.
Right, you just get the licenses, no additional DVDs necessary.

dennis, you should see this ...
but looking into your registrations i'm not sure upgrading the Special Edition to the full library is the most attractive path for you ...
please contact sales [at] vsl [dot] co [dot] at for more detailed information on other options - stefan ist most helpfull getting the most out of your investment

I'm wondering if it's possible to extend the sale's end to the weekend following the 15th, which for a huge percentage of customers means an additional paycheque at their disposal -- especially as most people have to pay the majority of their bills at the beginning of the month, so the mid-month paycheque is usually the only one with any discretionary spending associated with it :-).
In the US, most employers issue bi-weekly paycheques, and due to recent banking law changes (maybe a year or so back), they generally don't show up as available funds until Friday during the day (they used to show up Wednesday at midnight, or Thursday during the day). The end date of 15 January effectively cuts off a lot of potential sales following the Christmas holiday.
Just a suggestion.
