Finale Midichannels to VSL channels ? Deatail working with single notes?

 I cant use a keyboard.(have only one hand)

So I want Finale to play instead.

Afterwords I'd like to work more details at each note.

After Donloading the application for finale 2009, VSL can be adressed directly by finale, but the Kontant2 player can't load samples anymore (even no Garritan stuff ect.)

So I dont know how to adress VDL fr different Midichannels.

I also have no clue how to work afterwords with evry Midinote in details, because I seee only the setup with the virtual keybord.

Hello!

You don't need Kontakt 2 for playing your Vienna Samples.
This is how you install and use your Finale 2009 Human Playback Preferneces. These settings will take care of Keyswitches automatically, when you change articulations.

1. Open or start a new Finale document. You don't have to open F2009+VSL-SE_HumanPlayback.MUS, because you can import the settings to your own documents.
2. PC: To activate Vienna Ensemble in Finale go to MIDI/Audio/Device Setup/Manage VST Plug-ins and add the Plug-in directory, where your Vienna Ensemble.dll is located. Then in MIDI/Audio/Instrument Setup/VST Instruments choose Vienna Enemble. The Vienna Ensemble window, where you can load your instruments, will open automatically. Also make sure that in the MIDI/Audio menu "Play Finale through VST" is activated.
Mac: In MIDI/Audio/Instrument Setup/Audio Units Instruments choose Vienna Enemble. The Vienna Ensemble window, where you can load your instruments, will open automatically. Also make sure that in the MIDI/Audio menu "Play Finale through Audio Units" is activated.
3. To import the settings in your Finale score, go to MIDI/Audio/Human Playback/Human Playback Preferences and click Import. Then choose the F2009+VSL-SE_HumanPlayback.MUS file.
4. Open the Vienna Ensemble window, make the same channel settings as in Finale and load the matrices of the instruments from your score.

It is possible to load Vienna Ensemble as the first instrument and your Garritan player as the second (or vice versa). But both instruments need different sets of Human Playback Preferences, so I'm not sure if it makes any sense to combine them in one piece.

 Thanks for your answer, but Ialready did that.

I can open properely VSL by Finale after importing this mus.

The problem is, when I load different Matrix, by every crossover of the voices e.g.  cellos and flut (beginning by c),

VSL switches everything to cello , and of cours the instrumentation is zero.So how can I use properly one matrix per staff?

Hello Juda!

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you have the flute and the cello in one staff? If so, please create a staff for every instrument and set different channels for both instruments in Finale. In Vienna Ensemble create two instruments. In the first load the matrix for the flute and set it to the first channel. And in the second instrument load the matrix for the cello and set it to the second channel.

 My exaple was pretty easy:

I create by finale a score of only to staffes, one for flutes (Midi chanel 1 in Instrument List), one for cellos (Midi chanel 2 in Instrument List).

Of cours the lowest tone fore a fulte is C4= c' .

The Cellos are able to play higher than the lowest tones of a flute.

Than I first try to import VSL by Kontakt2.Contakt tells me under load, that it can't identify a readable sample in VSL.

So I open directly VSL.

The VSL window appears.

Than I have simply no idea how to tell  VSL wich staff is wich instrument.

If I make different matrixes, at the  note, when the Cello from channal 2 is above the Flute channel 1, the flute becomes a Cello too, and channel 1 can't play the flute samples anymore, nor reach the highest pichtes of the flute (of coursC7=c"" is to high)

 So, how can I tell finale staff one with channel one are flutes and staff two with channel 2 are cellos?How do I edit matrixes to chanels?

Sorry that I'm such a dummy, I just start with using finale more than a notation Programm.

Hello Juda!

You can't load the Vienna samples with Kontakt. Please use the Vienna Ensemble. This is our host- and mixing-engine.
For your example you will need two instruments. In the first instrument load the matrix (in Matrix Assign) for the flute and in the second instrument load the matrix for the cello. Please also make sure that the channels are the same as in Finale (Probably 1 for the flute and 2 for the cello).

 this is exactly, what I did.I open in 2009I midi =>Instrument  manager=> opended the list and chose VSL => Edit

the Matrix Asign shows up, I loade on C0 the first Instrument in the next line the other Instrument.Result Finale fecided to use for ALL midi-channels the same Instrument in C0, ore switched from Matrix C0 to the next at the forst common note played by finale.

What did I wrong?

I guess you did not create a second instrument, but loaded two matrices in the first instrument instead.
For your example you need two instruments in Vienna Ensemble. To create instruments click on the Insert Instrument button in the top right corner. Load the flute in the first and the cello in the second instrument.

 at the top on the right of the VSL bank are only Matrix, Patch and controll.

On the left are for Matrixes different lines.Evry Mareix I can change by going to pathch assign the matrixes.but VSL ca't play different instruments and I see no insert instrumens button anywhere.Where is instruments insert?Is it because I don't have yet extended or vienna suit or vienna ensemble 3 or any other software? I bought only special edition.

This sounds very much like you are using a single Vienna Instrument instead of Vienna Ensemble to me. If you haven't done so yet, please download Vienna Ensemble 2 and the manual from the following location:
