Ve3, why does it re-load instruments when I switch songs (projects) in Logic

Hello I want to make sure I am not doing something wrong. i got ve3 working on the same computer as my sequencer (LOGIC 8). When I switch songs (projects), ve3 reloads the sounds. Is this the way it is suppose to work, or am i doing something wrong? I can't imagine why it would be designed this way. I have been using GIGASTUDIO and the one thing I love about it is that the orchestra is loaded once, and i can forget about it for weeks on end. All I do is switch LOGIC songs (projects) and everything is up and I can get to work right away as i switch songs. I feel Ve3 takes an unnecessarily long time to get ready between songs. this could be the difference between me using it or not-- especially when i am switching between numerous songs while working on a series. yes, that is the way the system works at the moment - it will be improved with the next update of Vienna Ensemble 3. 

If you want to work just like you did with GigaStudio, you can of course simply use stand-alone instances of Vienna Ensemble!

Paul thank you very much for your quick response! i hope that update is coming soon. I don't understand how to use stand alone instances of Vienna ENsemble. Do you mean stand alone instances of Vienna Instruments? I would be grateful for a quick tutorial! Angelo

Hi Angelo,

well, you can use Vienna Ensemble as a plug-in in your sequencer, or as a stand-alone application. Did you check out the Video Introducing Vienna Ensemble 3?
