    I have installed both on 10.5.4 Leopard with an 8-core Pro and 14 GB RAM. While loading Vienna Instruments the first time after booting up Leopard, it needs much time till program is starting. When I try to load different instruments inside the Vienna Instruments, the program is stopping and non-responding on the system, so I have to quit. Or the other thing happened that the Vienna Instruments were creating a mistake protocoll with the message: Hanging - inside or Kern Protection Failure.

    Now I have installed again the versions 3208 of both instruments and it is going much better than before.

    Please help me, what is the problem; what shall I or what can I do to solve the problem with the 3238 versions?

     I have never heard of this error messgae before – we will look into it to find out what causes this and get back to you. However I´d suggest to repair permissions with help of the application <disk utility> after a restart and to reinstall the latest versions again.

    Thank you so much, Maya. Awaiting your reply. I do not understand the error messages, too, so I've already actualized in Directory manager all paths, but nothing was changing after it. In Tiger the software VI and VE is going so much faster than in Leopard, that is why I was surprised about these messages and I am surprised that the older version 3208 is going better than the newer one 3238.

    I could support you that I will install the versions 3238 again and when the report is appearing I will copy the lines in a txt file and send to you.

    What do you think about that?
