I know there are probably a few threads on these topics already but I was unable to find them through the search feature.
I was watching the VSL Special Edition Demo tutorial done by Christian, and in the video the voice over guy says to use Power Pan if you have it? What excactly is Power Pan and how do you know if you have it?
Also when I downloaded the Cubase 4 files to see how the song was made I noticed how he used a Midi track with a VST track and put reverb on the VST track so he can give it a wet signal or dry signal, I understood that. But the thing that had me stumped was the that on the send channel Christian would have some tracks with -10db of the reverb going in. They seemed to be random the amount he had put to each VST track. This is not the one that controls the wet/dry signal but the part in the sends where you put how much reverb you want.
Is there any method to how much reverb goes to each instrument, I seem to be a bit confused.
If this is all unclear let me know and I will try my best to rephrase it =)
