    I posted this because the Todd-AO IR seemed to cause a lot of excitement in some parts. Now they just need Paramount and Sony to get the full set!

    Great 'heads up' - Thanks.  Just starting today to mix a finished score.  Do I dare try this one (really love Todd AO).

    Anyone else tried it yet?  Svk?  DG?  Christian?  Others?

    I was just now playing around with it. It sounds similar to the TODD-AO, but it has only 6 positions instead of 12. Judging from that and how messy the studio looks in the Quicktime movie, it seems that they didn't get a whole lot of time in there.

    Thanks John - we'll give a go later on today.   I imagine the sound is a tad 'brigther' than Todd AO?   While nothing sounds better on the mid to mellow scores in Todd AO - I was hoping for the more spirit scores this would be a good alternative.  (at least as I think of actual scores recorded there - as memory serves.)
