    In my oppinion this is cutting much too much of the low frequencies of e.g. the Contrabassi. What is your oppion? For me the color wheel is the most difficuilt thing to handle in altiverb. Any hints, where to use it flat and where IR?

    Hey Felix - I am sort of new to Altiverb but I haven't even touched the color wheel.  All I do for the DB's is back off the tail a tad - so it's not swimming in room - smearing everything else.  Using Todd AO - this has worked well.

    Can you give us a little more of why/wherefore on the 'color wheel' thing.

    Unfortuneatly, I have to pass this question to someone else. I don´t understand, why my direct signal should be colored and specially, why the direct signal of the Basses should loose so much of their deep frequencies on the way to my ears.

    My fault, sorry! Just found out, that I had the wrong IR (in this case the Konzerthaus Vienna Large 16 m), which was cutting so much of the low frequencies.
