The woodwinds that can be heard in the audio demos to the VI Special Edition IMO cannot match the way the woodwinds sound in the demos of VI Woodwinds I - especially the demos of each instrument playing solo. How wonderful these instruments sound here!
However, looking at the sample content of VI WW I as well as VI Special Edition, I cannot help thinking that perhaps the demos of SE do not do the WW-instruments contained in the SE-package full justice. After all, the SE Woodwinds (that is, those in the full package, both SE and SE Plus) come with legato, performance repetitions (= Round Robin?) for legato + staccato, as well as fast repetitions in various tempos.
With the full SE Woodwinds, how close can you come to the sound of the solo woodwinds in the audio demos for VI Woodwinds I?
