    Hi, New to mock-ups in VSL. I'm in Logic 8 with Special Edition with a stereo VI opened on each track with the default matrix assignments (e.g. CO 215 Strings Violons). The strange thing is that I can't get any polyphony (2 or 3 notes at a time) in a track. I'm 99% sure that this shouldn't be. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks is Advance,

    If you're using a legato or portamento patch, you can only play one note at a time. Otherwise the interval coudn't be identified. If you want to play more than one note at a time, then open two or more instances of the same instrument, and play the notes using seperate instances and seperate midi channels.

    Thanks for your reply. Yes that makes since! That must be the case for other articulations too. I tried a 3 note chord with a sus articulation for Vln. and it doesn't work. Guess I'll need to open up more instances! All best

    No, sus articulations are OK to play chords.
