    Mixing Violas.... Question...If one records an orchestrea using ONLY the "mic tree" ....so NO close miking............Will the violas have a lot less tail and early reflection than the violin section? thanx, SvK

    Dietz...... let me ask it another....way.....if using ONLY a tree (shawn murphy style) in a big hollywood sound stage........Would the Early reflections of the viola section be louder than the vienna direct? same as the vienna direct? quieter than the vienna direct?..........rule of thumb here please..............
