Hi VSL,
I'm running multiple VE instances on a Mac Pro Intel 8 core, 16 GB ram, Digital Performer 5.13, Sys 10.4.11.
At random intermittent times, VE starts rhythmic clicking noises. When it happens I have to go to VE, select Preferences and then close. Sometimes I have to reset preferences on all of my running VE instances individually before the clicking noises finally stop. After a short time it usually starts again, necessitating further VE preference resets. This isn't a ram issue because it happens even when I only use one VE instance. It happens even when I'm not triggering VE via midi. I don't think it's a sync clocking issue because my entire studio is synched via digital word clock from Aardsync II.
It's very annoying.
Are others experiencing this problem? Anyone have a fix or better workaround than just resetting preferences each time it happens?
Thanks,
