    I love the 64 bit version and I already have a 64 bit machine running VE with no problems. However, I want to be able to use a convolution reverb with the VE in real time and I don't know if there are any that will load in it. Could someone help me if they have more info? Thanks

    that is great news!

    I just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing:

    are you sure Altiverb 6 works as a plugin in Vienna Ensemble 64 Bit?

    Or do you mean it works on Windows XP or Vista 64, but inside a 32 bit host?

    That is not the same thing...

    Can anyone else confirm that Altiverb does now work in VE 64?

     I would like to inquire about it too. Altiverb 6 as far as I know is 32 bit only. It can be used on 64 bit systems but only within a 32 bit host.

    Would you please confirm that it works within the VE x64 bit version? Is there a special version that I need to get?

    No, you can't use Altiverb within VE 64bit, because it is a 32bit plug. It will install and work in XP64 and probably Vista64 (not tried that one), but only in 32bit compatibility mode.

     Thank you for the replies, guys. Well if not Altiverb, is there anything else that could work? If anyone here is using the 64 bit version of VE, and loading a full orchetsra template into the instance, what are you guys using for reverb then?

    For what its worth.

    I can confirm with DG that AV6 DOES NOT work in a 64bit app.

    I tried using it with Sonar7 64bit on WinXP x64.

    It installs fine on WinXP64 but does not work in Sonar7 64bit, only Sonar7 x32.

    Hah, very flattering, but I have been known to be wrong in the past. However, in spite of what any developer tells you, the true test is trying to use the product. For example, some people tell me that Nuendo 4 is usable..........
