  • Keyswitching Problem

Hi Im a bit of a noob to the Vienna Stuff, but basically I was watching the intro video and trying to do a keyswitch to trigger a different set of articulations and I have no idea how to do this... By keyswitch to they mean a key on the midi keyboard that you hit, and then it changes over or am I missing something here? I feel absolutely retarded. Thanks! Bob

  • There re many ways to do this. However, if you are using a keyswitch you hit the appropriate note and the articulation changes. The default keyswitches for the Presets are explained in the manual. Have you downloaded this yet? What sequencer are you using?

  • Hi Bob

I create a very simple piece with the VI on my homepage. It's a Tutorial for the very beginners. I show how to load sample articulations, how to organize a keyswitch for selecting this articulation etc. I think it could be one more possibility to "get" the Vienna Instrument.

Unfortunately the VI-pictures in this Tutorial are based on an older version. So the VI-design corresponds not quite exactly with the current version. But I'm sure that's not a problem

I wish you a lot of success
