Hi DG,
For OSX users where we don't have the benefits of FXTeleport (and it looks like we probably never will judging by Max's lack of input on his own website) an Audio Over Lan solution is ideal for VE. And wormhole could well be the solution. I use it fairly successfully today although it does require the odd reset every now and then. It's a far cheaper and more elegant solution than having too spend $/£s on multiple adat devices just so you can slave other mac's.
Personally I'm all for Wormhole's continued development and imagine if they built Audio Over Lan functionality into the VE that could also be cross platform! Plus VSL have the experience of AU/VST and even RTAS development plus access to the Steinberg VST SDK I'd think it would be a great opportunity.

Ah, I see. Personally I don't think that VSL should spend all the resources it would take, just for the benefit of Mac users, particularly if it only worked with VSL products. It make more sense for Apple to develop it, as Windows users have no need for it.
The other thing to remember is that we are now approaching an era where multiple machines are no longer needed. Where I think that VSL could benefit is by developing a virtual MIDI and audio cable to go with VE, so that when projects are re-loaded, the samples could remain in a kind of standalone. I have my own fix for this, but an official one would be good. this would benefit Mac users greatly, as AFAIK they are still having to use multiple standalones to use the full extent of their memory.
