  • Harp Glissandi

    Hi everybody,

I'm doing an arrangement with the extended Cube.

I need slow, medium, and fast Bb7 glissandi for various points
    in the piece.

When I look through whats available in the pre-recorded Glissandi
list I don't see one for Bb7 (in the V7 patch or matrix lists).

    Am I missing something?

Which patch or matrix should I use? I'm confused as to how VSL has set these glissandi up. Can anyone
clarify the best way to use them? I see they have provided certain V7 chords
but not the complete chromatic set.

If there is no Bb7 glissandi I'll program one but the real ones sound so nice and sweet.

    Thanks for your help,
    David

If I remember correctly we have recorded all possible glissandis based on four different keys.

Glissandi based on the keys Bb-D-F-A or Bb-D-F-Ab are performable on a concert harp.

The problem is the Cb string of the harp, which could be pedalled up to C or Db, but all three keys are not included in a Bb7 chord.
