    In Spaces, you can assign apps to dedicated slots, however, VE is the only app that doesn't register for that when you try to set it up. It does work if you don't set it to a particular space and just have it open, but I have my setup so that DP, MachFive, and Kontakt each have there own space, permanently set, so when you open these apps they are already configured. Would be great to include VE in that group. Thanks.

     For whatever reaso, I've had the opposite experience - - VE consistently works with OS 10.5.1's "Spaces" feature whether I use it as a plugin, standalone or both.

    Are you manually (permanently) assigning VE to one of the slots, or just opening up VE on the fly and switching? The latter works, but I'd prefer to have it pre-assigned.

    I had similar experience. Tried to assign the instances to different screens but the menu won't show the VE app so you can't assign it .. however one can manually do it .. but then you have to do it every time you use them. Heto

     I haven't yet tried multiple instances of the VE standalone, but I can assign the VE standalone and VE plugin to different windows without any problem.
