    Hi: I understand that you are working on a fix for problems with VE Audio Units validation in Logic 8. It is my recent experience that VI validation fails as well. Is this also being addressed? Thanks, Michael

    No problem here with VI validation in Logic 8. (Getting kinda chatty, aren't I. I'm probably misunderstanding your statement .. but just in case)

    Hi: No misunderstanding. On my new MacBook Pro laptop (intel - running 10.4.10), after installing Logic 8 and VI 1.12, Logic hangs on the AU validation of VI. The stand alone Vienna Instruments application runs fine. MIchael

    Ok, good. I shouldn't be jumping on these threads as my experience in Logic is pretty limited. I am also running 10.4.10, and VI 1.12. My one possible advantage is, that, because of limited disc space on my MacBook (not Pro), I began with a complete erase and install of the OS. Hope you find a solution soon.

    Michael - one further thing that occurs to me: my Syncrosoft key was already inserted when I installed Logic. ...?

    Interesting. Mine was not inserted during Logic installation (though Vienna Instruments was not installed at that point either). Inserting it now makes no difference to the validation problem. Michael
