    I can see where you can save the whole project, but where do you save the INSTRUMENT? I'm in Logic 8... Thanks Tom

    Well surely you save the instrument settings on the VI player console. VE don't work for me so I can't test it out but I would just use a preset for the VI instrument itself. And then save the whole project file so that it remembers where all the fiddly things like fader positions are. Easy :D

    Do you mean a matrix? or a Preset? Save them from the particular VI within the VE.

    ...now if you're using SE with VI, having upgraded your GS to GVI or your NI to K3, VSL recommends....... (just kidding, all this acronyms are starting to get confusing [:D])

    seriously, though, the VI saves matrices and presets.
