     Does VI SE or any VI load all needed samples (almost) fully into the RAM memory? Seems like it does on my Mac Pro... or is there a special Diskstreaming patch I have to download like NI DirectFromDisk DFD?

     Hello and welcoe bartdelissen, 

    the Vienna Instruments stream from disk automatically, only the first snippets of the samples are loaded into RAM.

    You don´t have to download any additional software [:)]

    Ok, I'll try again. I've bought extra RAM anyway since Logic 8 stops due to an overload quite fast. I've got 6GB RAM now. I think that should work.
