reverb in cubase

Hi,

I saw the new demo videos and saw the section about putting a reverb on a buss and then using the main faders to control how much of the original signal came thru. Is there any way to  achieve this in cubase 4? In cubase 5 you could route tracks to a Grip and do that kind of thing. I've tried in cubase 4 with groups but it doesn't work. I'm forced to setup an insert on each instrument so I can have all reverb as a signal to create distance, but it doesn't really have the ame richness or control.

Any advice? Any cubase 4 users here!? Help! [:O]

Easy. Put your reverb (set to 100% wet) on a group channel.

Set up a send from each VSTi output to this group.

Route your VSTi outputs to another group channel.

You now have two group channels; one which has dry signal and one which has reverb.

Mix levels to your hearts content.

Thanks DG - thats great. Does this mean each vsti track will need at least one group for the dry signal. I guess I'll know when i get there!

You can also just use one send from the vsti outputand set it to pre-fader. With the volume control you control the dry level and with the send-level you control the wet level.
