    Hi all

    If I use VE in stand-alone mode on a slave PC with Win XP (32 bit), what is the maximum amount of RAM that VE will address for loading samples?

    Unfortunately, same as it is with any xp 32-bit app (2.x GB, with the 3GB switch enabled). There's nothing VSL can do about 32-bit xp's RAM limits. ---J.

    With Win XP 64 bit, what would the max RAM limit be?

    It depends on the application and whether or not VE is truly 64bit. If the host is 32bit then the maximum RAM would be 4GB, but if both are 64bit, then it would be as much as your machine could handle.

    I would assume that VE would be true 64 bit. No?

    Looks like I can start stockpiling RAM [:D]
