  • I'm pretty sure it doesn't work with Space Designer.

  • I believe Space Designer can be processed on a node but only when it's inserted in a track. If you use it on a bus then it has to be calculated locally.

  • i remember we had this discussion already with the pro edition for EXS - you would need to have a da**ed good network to do sample streaming on a node (ok, one should work, but more can become critical easily) ... or you'd need to *teach* the node how to stream sample data from a local drive (local on the node) and using which engine and settings, ect, ect ... doesn't look too easy to me.

I guess with Logic Pro 8 floating somewhere in the ether it's not too late to hope...
Last I heard, LP8 isn't coming out. They are dropping Logic Pro from their product line, and going instead with a Pro Tools killer.

  • It's still going to be like Logic, but I heard the enviroment is going to be not as confusing.

Pro Tools killer? Not unless they have the hardware to back it up.

  • There have been lots of Pro Tools killers around for years. Logic 8 will come out, and everyone will complain that it's not a revolutionary advance over Logic 7.
