    Would it be too rare to ask for the right to buy additional licenses for additional Vienna Keys for family members?

    My wife is also a composer and she could occassionally use the VI SE that I just got. But I don't necessarily want to pass the Key back and forth as we each need to use it.

    Once I am done with SE I can re-assign my license to her (right?), and then no problem, but I wondered if one can buy an additional license for 10-20%, or something, ... like up to 2 license extensions ... for additional computers, assistants, team and crew, and musical families [:)] ?

    P.S. Obviously I am aware of the concerns you have with doing this. But I think there is a way to, if we just put our heads together hard enough.

    Can my writing partner, colleagues or friends use these samples once I´ve licensed the disc? Can I form a group to buy and share discs?
    NO, each person who uses the sounds must purchase their own copy (which licenses them to use the sounds)

    i would understand to be additional computers, assistants and musical families to be different cases. please contact sales@vsl.co.at

    Hey wait a minute here. Are we talking about collection splitting so-to-speak? Say Brass I on two computers for example?

    C'mon Evan, I don't understand too much in this world so why wouldn't that apply to (my understanding of) VSL?

    Edit: Just to be clear to my good friends here (such as cm.) I really wasn't aware if there was a change on multiple computers for the single user.

    Yeah that's a VERY good point dpcon. That's definitely a VERY valid reason to need further licenses.

    VSL isn't bowing to anyone. They're just a class organization that allows freedom of expession within the bounds of their product-line and purpose. Of course they are going to draw the line and refuse to play host to personal attacks.

    You shouldn't quit Holgmeister, your comments are always interesting to read, I for one enjoy your contribution even though you seldom post. I hate to say it but you got caught in a trap.....awaiting for something like this....

    FYI, I didn't say sh** you di**. No one bowed to anything, but we ALL SAW that you were massively out of line.

    And I think everyone around here would laugh REALLY LOUD if VSL said that I had any influence. ROFL!

    holgmeister - just to have this clear: no one is bowing before someone or someones money or someones influence, because i think (i should say *we*) the product is good, the team is professional and the practices in this forum are above reproach.

    i did not edit your post above, although your wording is again far from beeing appropriate ... i apologize for the rare occasion to remove a post, particulary although i understood the sarcasm very well, but this might not apply to everyone here.

    evan - i'd ask you to not respond any longer to this topic in which way ever. it should be pretty obvious the manner of your post is leading to an unwanted climate here which we cannot accept according to the principles of this forum and VSL in general.
