Beta working here for me on PC. Cold boot startup time (with large project) went from about 10 mintues to about 4 minutes. [:D]

Well, that's a beta of a different color. With 4.9.8.3, the load was 10:51. Now with 5.0.5.0, it's 5:47.

I'm extremely grateful for this upgrade.

5.0.5.0...?!!??? ...I've only found the 5.0.4.0...

Mighty rino lives! Yeah, I made the same mistake. Maya's first post has a link to Syncrosoft, but the beta is only available at VSL as of this moment.

I just finished my first session with the beta in Logic. So far, so good.

Is this any different from the Beta we downloaded from your site? Should I install this if I have the 5.0.5.0 Beta already installed?

I recommend to download the final version from Syncrosoft´s website. It is optimized and was tested extensively, so it should work smoothly.

make sure your browser is not set to chache pages or set your preferences to *retrieve content everytime visiting* (or similar wording) or refresh the page several times

Thanks, the page was stuck in my cache and wouldn't come up with the new version until I cleared it [8-)] Weird. Got it now!

Quick tip for mattdean:
You can quickly force your browser to refresh by choosing the <reload> option - it clears the cache and loads the latest version of a web page in one click (...usually...)
