  • VI SAYS NO PATCH

Today, after a million attempts to start Nuendo and have VI and License Control agree that I own the software and have a protection device, now I open a VI in the VST Instrument window, and under PATCH it says..."No Patch" and there is nothing there. The matrix files are there, and the library of sounds shows up ("You have licenses for"). But now, "No Patch."

I have lost so much time today, again, over this awful, horrid protection scheme. I am just no longer getting the work done I was when I had Giga and the old VSL stuff. Terrible. Guess I'll restart, revisit LCC, revisit Directory Manager, etc, etc. Anything but get work done.

  • Tom, I think that it most likely is the directory manager. You should delete the folders and drag and drop each instrument folder again. First restart your computer before doing so.

I ended up just restarting and rescanning a bunch of times. It's voodoo. Really. I love VI but this is insane....

Thanks, I'll try that next time..
