  • "The value to register has to be numeric"?

When I enter my serial number to register it says, "The value to register has to be numeric"? What am I doing wrong?

  • Try using the 1st half of the numbers that come up on the Syncrosoft control panel. That worked for me. They don't tell you this however. You need to be a rocket scientist to register these things.

  • Bruce, I think I wasn't specific enough. I'm having a problem registering one of the VI's at VSL's user area.

  • Okay, I'm confused. I think your right now [:P]...

I guess that this means that you have (incorrectly) entered some letters.

  • The problem is that I assumed that since I have the same dongle key (I use Cubase sx 3) that I wouldn't have to open up the one in the box so when I clicked register virtual instrument it still took me to the Dongle Key registration....

  • Hi,

you have to register at least one key before you can register your products. This is for your safety, in case you loose or damage your key.... Of course you can also register your Steinberg key.

    Hope that helps.
