FREE UPDATE DVD for FIRST EDITION Users - released?

Just curious - I purchased VSL First Edition EXS version last month - have not gotten the email for this free update DVD so I assume that it hasn't been released yet? If not, when? I would love to get my hands on those samples! Thanks!

as I recall there will be a newsletter mailing when the DVD is ready - apparently very soon [:D]

If you check the Forum every week or so you probably wouldn't miss anything as major as this particular eagerly anticipated release [[;)]]

I jut logged into my downloads area to get the newest Performance Tool, and under Updates, there's a listing for Update DVD, and it looks like I successfully ordered it.

Maybe it's just before the email announcement?? Either way, can't wait to get it!

Great news. One of the main reasons I've been on this site so much lately is looking for the DVD upgrd., release announcement. Bass Clarinet, CBassoon, Piccolo, CTrombone, Muted strings and more - ya gotta love it.

I'm sure I'll stay around because I get to post all the time and act like I know what I'm talking about and feel very important. VSL provides much more than samples! A place to feel at home talking about many things.

Uhm, although I've registered my first edition performance set (even says so when trying to register it again), when clicking on the update DVD link it says "You have not yet registered any of your First Edition products" etc. [[:|]]

Hi Christian,

I just received my Pro Edition upgrade (Orch Cube + Perf set) and Solo Strings.
Do I actually need the upgrade DVD?
Or do I already have everything in the Pro set?

colin, the upgrade DVD01 would only be interesting for users who crossgraded (eg. from giga first to exs pro) - if you have upgraded without changing your platform you have everything from the update DVD already
