Can someone suggest a way to modify the key range for an audio instrument within Logic 6 without having to modify the Zones or Groups of the VSL sample instrument (EXS file) itself?
This is easily done with physical instruments in Logic, but I have not found a alternate way of doing it for instruments under EXS24.

PS: I consider custom key ranges to be unique to the song itself rather than a permanent change to the instrument. I would also like to avoid creating multiple copies of my VSL instruments if I could avoid it.
