  • roto toms

Working with a contemporary piece for percussion ensemble I couldn't find any roto tom's and had to use Drumkits From Hell's tom tom's from a drum kit - not really the same.

    Are they there or?

I work with the Orchestral Cube, pro edition.

  • I think there are roto-toms at GTown, but the site doesn't seem to be working at the mo - keep checking it...

  • www.projectsam.com has a free download of Roto Toms as well as other percussion (go to downloads > free percussion > download it)

    Enjoy!

  • Glad to see and find the SAM site. So far I don't know what to do with a .rar file, is it a compression? Neither my Giga 3.0 or Halion recognizes it.

But thanks for sharing knowledge. I really like VSL by the way.

    Jorgen.

Funny, you missed the disclaimer of SAM at the bottom, and yes, .rar is a compression format that contains the gig-files: "Use WinRAR on PC and StuffIt Expander on Macintosh (shareware tools) to open the files and extract the Gigastudio files inside."

  • Ah, now I get it. They sound great, thanks.

    All the best, Jorgen
