  • Symphonic Cube announced at NAMM!!!

3 more days and we know for sure [:)]

    Very hard days comming...

  • They might wait for musikmesse ... much more local for them..

    when is that? march/april?

  • It is probably the most anticipated premiere, so I really hope you're wrong about Musikmesse. Anyway I think it will eventually be worth of waiting [:D]

Have you heard rumors about Symphonic Cube being a hybrid hard/software solution?

  • Sorry guys but:
What is the Symphonic Cube ?
How did you get that exact name ?
Isn't there already a symphonic orchestral cube and performance set ?

Let's hope we will see at least the symphonic booth in frankfurt this year, as there ia not yet an announcement on the "presentations" - page...
Last year VSL only showed up as part of the apple team....

This is what this PE owner is most interested in knowing. IMHO - the full solution is a carefully 'blended' use of both technologies.

  • It reminds me 2-3 years ago, the VSL ad said the complete orchestral package would be available preinstalled on a hard drive

Laurent, it was discussed if the media the Symphonic Cube (FAQ here) is delivered on will change from DVD to HD. But read: delivery, and not pre-installed, because I can imagine the HD will contained the RARed material, too, to keep the costs down plus the HDs you'd get won't need to be substituted by VSL every year because it crashed due to excessive streaming use...

btw, I think NAMM is a lot more interesting for the VSL team than the Musikmesse - more potential customers there... [6]

    You're right.
Thanks for the link to the Symphonic Cube FAQ

  • Just to let you know, there won't be a Symphonic Cube presentation at Winter NAMM Show this year. It's a little bit too early to say what's going to happen at Musikmesse Frankfurt, but I guess it's going to be an exciting show...
    Best wishes

  • Ah bummer -

Will VSL be presenting new stuff, or just pimping what they have? [:)]
