    Hello,

    I've heard about MIR Project working (when available) with Powercore. What about the Sydec Mixpander ? a DSP plugin for Sydec Soundscape should be great. This system is wonderful (9 processors) ... a fabulous product ! [:)]

    Thanks for the hint. - As far as the t.c.PowerCore is concerned, all I can say is that the final decision about hardware has yet to be made. Don't expect an obvious "off-the shelf"-solution, though.

    you don't have to worry peter. everything is on a smooth way but there are several good reasons not to publish any release date. one is - as dietz mentioned - that a final decision for a specific hardware has to be well considered.

    There have already been mixes (_real_ mixes! [6] ) done with early implementations of our MIR-concept. The results were extremly promising, there's a good chance that you already heared and liked them. But I think that _you_ as a user don't want to go through the un-intuitive procedures which _I_ (in charge for R&D) had to accept for these mixes due to CPU restrictions of today. That's why we all still have to wait a little while for a marketable product.

    Apart from that - as you may remember, we _always_ tried not to promise too much, exactly to avoid this vapourware-odour. It's not very fair from you to suggest that we did. - Finally, you could argue that we shouldn't have told the world about our plans at all, but then we would miss our wonderfull development partners we won for this exciting idea. You will understand once we can tell you the names.
