    Does anyone have their OS on a bootable raid 0 (stripe) drive? I do, and am having strange problems recently and error messages.

    not sure why you would have a bootable drive on a raid stripe
    your screwed big time if one of those drives goes bad

    RAID 0 is a horribly risky RAID choice. RAID 3, 5, and 1 10,01,310, etc., those are good. Stay away from the temptation of RAID 0, you'll get bit in less than 3 years. Trust me.

    Here are some RAID issues discussed. There is also a mention of RAIDs that have the performance of RAID 0 plus safety. I'd strongly suggest you to back up all data from the RAID (I think Norton Ghost also can do the things needed for booting).
