  • can somebody offer any insight on "Music for the Media

The only info I can seem to find about them is *from* them. Which is great and all, but I would love to see some third party opinions...

    thanks!

  • I'd love some third party opinions on that course too.

  • [:D] i used the MFTM course and found it very interesting..

i already knew how to write, read and score music though.. not sure how you'd do the course if you didn't already have the musical language at your fingertips..

they don't offer any music theory

but technically.. they were great. All th info you need to know ..writing to picture.. library stuff, games, animation.. etc

I had a great tutor and spoke to them via the helpline a few times.. they new all the rates and stuff when i first started getting work.

they'll give you honest opinions about your music and get you to write loads of different types of music

.. even had them phone me on occasion to suss out musicans over here in Dublin..

yep they are well worth it..

they got me up a rung in the ladder and i'm very grateful

  • I taught for the course. I think it's very good. It takes patience and hard work though.

    Good luck.
