    Very exciting news. I think this baby has the potential to compete with the rosetta800, and to be honest, I was waiting on RME to come out with something like this.....

    in other words, its a rumor of multiface pro...
    The question is, why it has 2 firewire 800 and 1 firewire 400 port. Any ideas?

    Well, my take would be this, the second 800 is to cascade another fireface or something like a 1 terabyte lacie harddrive, slurp, may be? ;o) and the 400 for older compatibility devices.
