    This is a great review and generally gives VSL some if not all of the credit it deserves.
    The additional support on this forum from you, cm and of course Herb is really exceptional and makes any problem fade away quickly.

    i read the review last nite and thoroughly enjoyed it. i just got the PE and found it a good primer as i am about to dig in and get to know it. the minimal criticisms seemed valid, and i look forward to making my own judgement calls on them.

    one thing i noticed tho, was there was no critique of the timpani, which is the single thing that i am least happy with from the FE, specifically the forte(ssimo) samples. i guess they didn;t cover anything from the FE tho.

    i really like SOS. it seem they give no BS reviews-unlike some of the other trade mags that rarely say anything bad about a product, especially if they buy a lot of ad space.
