    Hi,

    Some of the percussion instruments have Left Hand and Right Hand instances in the map. I wonder if this is just for live playing, or they are really different samples.

    I tried to carefully listen to a snare drum, and I would bet the samples are the same. Just relying on round-robins seem to change the sound in the same way.

    May I have some hints? Mapping the instruments for Dorico would be much easier if the samples are the same.

    I did some more extended listening. My feeling remains the same: they are the same samples, set this way just for realtime playing. I would be happy of any confirmation, to stop rumbling on this issue.

    I believe you are correct, but I don't remember where I learned this.
