lost thread?

I have a vague recollection of a thread somewhere on the forum, and most likely in this category, about making a mix that has that old, retro, 50s orchestra sound. I can't seem to find it now. Does anybody recall that post? Or is the person who posted it around still... maybe even reading this post? I'd like to read some of the tips in there -- I'm curious about that general topic; modeling "old" recordings. I assume just limiting the bandwidth would be a big part of it, but surely there are other, more subtle, aspects to modeling the recordings of that period.
