Great News for all the new virtual instruments.

For the Appassionata Strings what are the sizes of the ensembles? For example: the violins it is 20 players. What are the numbers for violas, celli and double basses.

Are there any plans for a second clarinet, bassoon, solo violin, solo viola, solo cello, trombone and a trumpet in Bb?

When are the con sordino articulations for chamber and solo stings going to be available?

Are there any plans for 2 Horns in unison, 2 trumpets in unison, 2 Trombones in Unison?

Thanks for your help for answering these questions.

    Regards

    Mirabile

  • Dont you think 2 bones in unison is a waste of time which could be used sampling other things? I mean we have 3 solo bones already, in addition to the ensemble... Horns on the other hand [:)]

I'm curious about the chamber sordinos as well.

  • To get two horns in unison stack a solo horn on top of the ensemble sound. Good enough for jazz........

  • The section sizes for the appassionatas are 20-14-12-10.

Yes, chamber legato sordinos (with tonal consistency) are greatly needed -- thanks.

  • hi,

can you tell us if the app. strings will be released in 1 title [i.e. like hte Solo Strings] or spread out over 2 titles [i.e. Woodwinds 1 + 2]?

    Thanks,

    Rob.

  • Appassionata Strings is one title.

  • I am going to sound ignorant (I actually AM),

but what are Appassionata Strings? Is it a sort of style of playing in terms of general articulations?

If anyone can also post an example of how such a string secion would sound.. or a peice where it is used....
