    Anyone on a Mac do the USB update?

    If so, are there any Syncrosoft issues?

    JWL, i didn't notice a USB-update, where did you see it?
    what i have noticed is OS X 10.4.8 update and an interesting note on a german newsticker: the update corrects [... network stuff ...] regarding apple's USB-modem [... open type fonts ...] and compatibility with third-party USB-hubs ... ect. for me this sounds the more interesting, since i don't know any apple USB hubs ....

    btw: it is strictly recommended to backup the system before installing the update because many users are reporting it causes kernel-panics[/url]
    and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.

    I'm sorry Christian-- I was doing several things at once to cross check the 10.4.8 USB fix with drivers from several other manufacturers before moving too soon.

    However, the question still stands if there have been any improvements with Syncrosoft functionality as a result of this USB fix.

    I have read several reports of kernel panics as well, and have since decided to wait to update anything just yet. If there are no known benefits to Syncrosoft performance, the I'll pass on it for now.
