  • Breath controller and velocity

    Hello
whenever i click on the Learn midi button on the Vel XF slider on the Perform page of the VI interface and blow into the Yamaha BC-3 breath controller, the point at where the controller accesses the Velocity is always in the middle of the parameter indicator. How can I get the Breath controller to be able to utilize the lower Velocity levels?
    Thanks in advance
    B L

  • I think that the setting has to be altered with the BC not with the VI interface.

  • DG's right on. There is a small black 'sensitivity' button on the headset of the BC3. Adjust that to taste [:D]

Now come on Rob, I've just admired your wit and general all round cleverness and you have to spoil it by admitting that it was an accident. When will you learn that if something is wrong it's someone else's mistake, and when it's right you were solely responsible. How you've ever lasted as long as you have in this Media game I'll never know [8-)]

[[:D]] Yea DG - recently I was editing a cue - had it on cycle (wrongly set that the last measure of the cycle had a 5/4 bar.) 'Accidently' stumbled on what ended up being a much better cue running 5/4 - 4/4 - 5/4 .etc...

Man, I wish I WAS clever enough.... Oh well, as they say, 'if you can't be good be lucky'..... [8-)]
