  • shakers at 110bpm

    Hello,

can the shakers (shakers_perf_rep.gig) be played at 110bpm (without melodyne)?

    thanks

  • OK, although the question i asked probably seems obvious to most of you, i'd like to follow thru with the answer, just in case some other beginner needs help here, too.

in theory, the shaker can be played at 110 bpm as they are recorded at 88bpm and any performance repetition can be played faster than the recording tempo. in practice, however, i am not so enthused by the result. it just doesn't sound natural anymore.

what i really want is to play the samples it at 55bpm. this is impossible. i know, of course, that VSL is not a latin-percussion instrument.
    (how about latigo?)

a weird thing happened with the performance tool:
all the keyswitches are one ocatve below the value displayed in the performance tool. is this a bug?

Cubase thinks that it is C3, which is wrong. I don't think that it is configurable. I have tried using a transposition but that just makes a different problem. Sorry........
