I'm not the tech and install guy, but it could be that your Licence control center is not installed right, or your content is not installed, or the Scan Tool for managing the directories of your content on your harddrive is not setup right.
Hi Herb, thanks for your advice.
The problem is, that i dont know how the different things should work, because i didnt know them yet.
I run the Directory manager and assigned the volume, where sound data is installed.
if i click on "Rescan", this button simply disappears, thats it.
No activity.
So i dont know, if i should do anything in addition to that and close this inactive program.
The licence procedere should also be allright, i dont know (?)
in logic, the left area says that "the following libs are licenced" and shows all the single parts of the collection.
Selecting one (e.g.: solo violin) by doubleclicking or hitting enter (as suggested), or doublecklicking AND hitting enter or doing this ten times has no effect.
i dont think, there is anything going on like browsing or so...

HTF, as i'm technogically challenged i'll ask the obvious stuff, just in case enthusiasm has jumped the obvious. No offence intended.
Firstly, have you had a look from Mac finder to see if the samples and files are installed?
Secondly, if they're installed ok, are the on the same disk as other sample libraries you have? Do those already installed libraries show up and WORK in Logic?
Is your Vienna Key active for the box that has the VI? (Understanding herb's response that registration is in the final setting up stage.)
Have you actually tried using a VI within a track? Does this require a check of midi ports, and audio stream? Do you need to review audio/midi setup?
If i can think of any more, i'll write some more.
Regards, and good luck, Rome was NOT built in a day. But it looked damned good when it was up!
