  • ''WHRITING FOR STRINGS''

I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE AN OPINION ABOUT ''WHRITING FOR STRINGS'' BY P.ALEXANDER
    THANKS

  • I would recomend an orchestration book like the one by Sammuel Adler.

In order to write for any instrument, you need to understand how it is played by a musician, it's range, it's technique, and the do's and dont's.

  • All of that and more is covered in my writing for strings level 1 series.

  • Oops! I misread the initial post. Sorry! I thought it was a question about writing for stings in general, not about a specific book... Sorry Peter.
