In MIR Pro 3D it is no longer possible to set up the automation of the global dry/wet relation. Have I overlooked something? Is there a work around that leads to the same result?
I have a number of larger orchestra setups in the pipeline where the automation of the dry-wet fine-tuning is crucial. Unfortunately, I can't get back to the previous version of VE-Mir after buying the new one (which, of course, has many helpful innovations).

are you sure that you indeed automated the Global Dry/Wet Ratio? Do you have an example project for us where you did this? AFAIK the only automatable parameters of MIR Pro were Volume and individual Dry / Wet Ratio for each player (i.e. for each plug-in instance).

thank you very much. In the legacy version of MIR Pro and VE Pro both programs had linked GUIs so that from the user's point of view they appeared as one program. So it was possible to access the dry-wet offset (bottom right of the GUI, see LEGACY Vienna MIR Pro manual) and at the same time access the automation from VE Pro. This made it possible to automate this parameter. The result in the automation list looks like in the screenshot (2nd line).
The automation of the dry-wet offsets allows a very fine tuning of reverb depending on the density of the orchestral texture and the tempo. Very dense and fast passages may benefit from slightly reducing the reverb.

This is a very clever use of VE Pro's automation system. Respect! I openly admit that I've never used it this way before, and I think it's the first time I've heard of this approach. :-)
I'll make VSL's software engineers aware of the issue, maybe they can do something about it.
