    Hello,

    Today, Vienna Assistant updated itself, and then it reported updates for Vienna Ensemble and Vienna Instruments Pro. I installed all of them.

    Now I have a problem with MIR Pro in my projects where there doesn't seem to be any wet signal. I know MIR Pro is doing something because when I move the instrument to the far left or right, I can hear the instrument change position accordingly, on my headphones. But no "reverb" though. If I activate the button "Wet solo" there is no sound. If I activate the button "Dry solo", I hear no change.

    I don't see any error messages on the screen. Obviously, I can't be certain the updates are the cause, but on the other hand, I have tried more than one project and the change dates on the project files are all quite some time ago, so nothing should be different there.

    Still, I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Any suggestions?

    Hi, 

    Sounds like latency troubles to me. What are you latency settings in MIR and your sequencer?

    Hello Paul,

    Thanks. In Cubase, I switched my ASIO driver to something else and then back again. After that, all was working nicely.

    Thanks for the tip! Since there was sound, just not the sound I wanted, I would never have thought to go look for the problem in the driver and its latency settings.
