VEPro & Pro Tools Output Routing?

For some reason, after setting up VEPro with Pro Tools, when trying to route VEpro outputs to AUx track Inputs in Pro Tools, Out 1/2 never shows up. Only Out 3/4 and higher. (See VEPro manual photo page 115 which shows similar situation). If I create more outputs such as 5/6, 7/8, etc. they show up in PT for selection, but still never Outs 1/2? Most of the time I only use 4 Outputs anyway, usually 2 for close mics out, and 2 for Stage mics. Thus id I set up 4 outputs in VEPro, only 3/4 show up for selection in Pro Tools. I know that in Cubase, all outputs show up form VEPro. Am I missing something here?

After more testing, it appears that Out 1/2 (default) ends up being reserved for the instrument track that the VEPRO plugin is inserted on. Adding extra auxiliary tracks can be assigned to other VEPro outputs but not Out 1/2. You can send the signal out over a bus from the instrument track to another aux track. Not sure if there is more of a delay in signal depending on what type of track VEPro is getting routed to though.

 Latency is actually identical, no matter if the signal is routed back into the instrument channel or an Aux.
